At a reception for World Bank Country Director Victoria Kwakwa on Friday in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said Vietnam’s National Assembly and government have adjusted and allocated resources to implement new rural development effectively. Mr. Ninh asked the World Bank to provide Vietnam with preferential loans to implement the program, which is attached to sustainable poverty reduction.
Ms. Victoria Kwakwa said the World Bank has always supported Vietnam in socio-economic development including its new rural development program.
