Deputy Prime Minister Dam called on Vietnamese expatriates to continue building a united community and contributing to the development of the host country and the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.

"Vietnamese people around the world, regardless of their circumstances, always turn to their homeland, but overseas Vietnamese in Thailand have showed their love to the homeland in a very special way. It’s a very warm feeling. Our compatriots have integrated very well in Thailand, preserved their identity, and made Thai people better understand and have affection for Vietnam,” he said.

Participants recommended that the Government work to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese to live and study in Thailand and to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
