Deputy PM congratulates Catholics, Protestants on Xmas

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh wished Catholic dignitaries and followers a merry Christmas while visiting the Archdiocese of Hanoi on Friday. He called on the Archdiocese led by Archbishop Nguyen Van Nhon to continue to uphold their achievements and promote the great national unity.

During his visit to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), the Deputy PM said he believes that the Church will enhance the tradition of patriotism and contribute more to national construction and defence. 

On the same day, Mr. Binh paid a Christmas visit to the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics and priest Tran Xuan Manh, Acting President and General Secretary of the Committee.
