Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung meets Bemerd Da Santos, Senior Vice Chairman and CEO of the AES Group in Hanoi on August 23, 2018

During a meeting with Bemerd Da Santos, Senior Vice Chairman and CEO of the AES Group, the Deputy PM said Vietnam encourages the development of renewable energy production to serve growth demands. Mr. Santos praised the Vietnamese government’s incentives, saying the US administration is supportive of AES’s energy projects in Vietnam. He pledged to work closely with functional Vietnamese agencies to make current projects a success, and to expand the group’s investment in the development of new sources of energy in Vietnam.
