During their stay, the tourists, mostly Europeans and Americans, visited several attractions in Da Nang and the ancient town of Hoi An in neighboring Quang Nam province. 

Le Lapérouse is on a journey along the coast of Vietnam, which is scheduled to last between 8 and 11 days.  

Earlier, the ship visited Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, HCM city, Khanh Hoa province, and Binh Dinh province.
