Up to 43% of the survey's respondents selected the coastal city of Da Nang for their summer getaway, followed by Sapa (Lao Cai province), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Da Lat (Lam Dong province), and Phu Quoc (Kien Giang province). 

Two-thirds of the respondents said they planned to take a 3-4 day summer vacation, a noteworthy trend for tourism companies. The costs for the trip are the participants main concern, followed by the weather, and lastly the tourist attractions.

Delicious food is another important factor for the soon to be vacationers, with food trips being their top pick on a vacation, accounting for 57% of tourism activities surveyed. 

Vietnamese tourists are also the most willing to use air transport for domestic travels among the nationalities surveyed.
