(VOVworld) – A Vietnam – Thailand cultural exchange was held in district 1, Ho Chi Minh city on Sunday to mark 40th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

The program was held by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association, and Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh city. The program included a photo exhibition featuring the history of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations, the land and people of Thailand; and an art exchange, aimed at fostering mutual understanding, cooperation and friendship between the two countries. Vietnam considers Thailand an important strategic partner and wishes to promote friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Thailand.
