It again demanded Russia pull out and stop fighting. There were 141 votes in favor and 32 abstentions. Six countries joined Russia in voting no.

Foreign ministers and diplomats from more than 75 countries addressed the Assembly during two days of debate, with many urging support for the resolution, which upholds Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

Russia had earlier described the resolution as "unbalanced and anti-Russian" and urged countries to vote no if it could not be amended.

Finance chiefs and central bank governors from the Group of Seven nations have reaffirmed their "unwavering support" for Ukraine in a joint statement released after their meeting in Bengaluru, India, on Thursday.

The statement says their finance leaders have increased this year's commitment of budgetary and economic support for Ukraine to 39 billion USD and urged an IMF program for Ukraine by the end of March.

In related news, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin said that the West is focusing too much on the European battlefield and ignoring what is happening in other parts of the world, which will be a decisive factor in determining the next developments of the conflict and restructuring the world order.
