(VOVworld) – The National Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention convened its 5th session in Hanoi on Wednesday.
Head of the Committee, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong praised the achievements in corruption prevention during the first half of the year when the committee held its first national anti-corruption conference. Regarding plans for the rest of the year, he said: “Corruption prevention is a regular and important task for the party, people, and the entire political system. Party committees and localities must be involved in this drive.”
The party leader asked the committee to increase institutional building, detect legal loopholes and improve its performance.
