(VOVWORLD) - The week-long event “Made in Vietnam – Vietnamese quintessence” is taking place in Hanoi with 100 booths selling high-quality Vietnamese products.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said: “We expect that the event and other stimulus programs will raise the values of Vietnamese products and brands, promote domestic consumption, and boost the campaign ‘Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese products’ and the ‘Domestic Consumption Promotion’ program.”

Nguyen Thi Phuong, Deputy General Director of Central Retail, the organizer of the event, said: “The Made in Vietnam – Vietnamese quintessence” Week is designed to accompany businesses to overcome the difficult period and promote Vietnam’s internal strength. We believe that the event will help Vietnamese businesses strengthen their foothold in the domestic market and diffuse Vietnamese trademarks to the international market.”

The week-long event includes a program to connect Vietnamese businesses to the Central Retail network in Vietnam and Thailand, a display of Vietnamese Ao dai, and a silk dance show.
