Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh stressed the need to raise public awareness of domestic violence to help protect vulnerable people.
“We should promote the campaign to refine people’s behavior, starting from morality education within the family. It’s also important to assist victims of domestic violence,” Madam Thinh said.
The National Action Month against Domestic Violence is observed across Vietnam from June 1 to 30.
