Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue reviewed the career of Mr. Le Quang Dao, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the State Council of Vietnam, and President of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

“Remembering Mr. Le Quang Dao, we remember the image of a devoted, virtuous revolutionary cadre, who lived a simple, modest, and affectionate life, and a loyal representative of the people's interests. He was a prestigious leader of the Party, State and people. He left us an example of the noble life of an exemplary communist, a prestigious leader, and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh,” Mr. Hue said. 

National Assembly Chairman Hue handed over a Resolution on the establishment of Tu Son city of Bac Ninh province to a local representative.

Earlier on Sunday, Mr. Hue offered incense and flowers  at Le Quang Dao's memorial house in Tu Son city.
