(VOVworld) - Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin met Sunday on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Antalya, Turkey, where they reiterated their commitment to cooperation between their countries.

Xi told Putin that China aims to build an "innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive" world economy along with all the other members of the Group of 20 (G20) major economies when China assumes the rotating presidency of the G20 next year. Putin voiced support for China’s more prominent role in international economic and financial cooperation as the next chair of the G20.
