Both China and the US are in communication now over the specific arrangements, Wang said, responding to a question on a US media report that Blinken is visiting China on February 5.

Politico reported that Blinken will meet in Beijing with his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang on February 5 and 6.

Blinken's visit would be the first by a US secretary of state since October 2018.
