The US Department of Commerce barred US companies from selling to Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Co (FJICC), a Chinese DRAM maker. According to China, the purpose of the action was to maintain a monopoly by the US DRAM industry. China said US accusations that Chinese firms steal US technology are nonsense.
