At a meeting with Deputy Defence Minister Phan Van Giang in Hanoi on Thursday, the Admiral said naval cooperation will deepen the defense partnership between Malaysia and Vietnam. General Phan Van Giang, who is also the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army said the defense partnership has seen new developments and achievements, adding that regular exchanges between the two navies have boosted bilateral ties.
