At an introduction meeting on Tuesday in HCMC, Nguyen Hong Son, President of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin's Ho Chi Minh City chapter, said priority will be given to transforming public perceptions from viewing Agent Orange victims as sufferers, to recognizing them as confident, positive individuals and true “inspirers” to society.
“Ho Chi Minh City is home to more than 13,000 AO victims. I hope we can all join hands to help them move from being victims to becoming inspirations for the community. This is a great responsibility shared by government agencies, social organizations, and every individual,” said Son.
