Quang Ngai province licensed 35 projects, including 3 FDI projects with a total investment capital of nearly 600 million USD and generated 7,500 jobs. Mr. Le Viet Chu, Secretary of the Quang Ngai provincial Party Committee said: “We welcome investors and pledge to facilitate their business. We are striving to develop Quang Ngai into a friendly and safe destination for investors. We consider their success to be our success”.

This year the central provinces focused on resolving obstacles facing businesses developing the marine economy and infrastructure, and cooperating to improve their business environment. Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment, said: “Development orientations are needed for each area and each locality. We need to set up an inter-regional committee and a coordination mechanism. Regions and areas should cooperate for their own benefit and for the national interest”.
