At a ceremony to mark the university’s 40th anniversary on Saturday, Ms. Thinh asked the lecturers to improve their knowledge to keep up with the social development. Ms. Thinh said: “The university needs to mobilize different resources to invest in training and scientific research in order to create high-quality doctors and pharmacist in the context of global integration. Students, lecturers and the staff should try their best and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching “Physicians must be like gentle mothers”.
On behalf of the State President, the Vice President conferred the Labor Order, second class, to the university and presented 20 scholarships to poor students with excellent academic results.
