18 contestants had 80 minutes to cook dishes with tra fish as the main ingredient. The winner was The Hus Coffee & Restaurant, who prepared tra fish cakes and tra fish with mushroom sauce.

The contest, held by the Vietnam Tra Fish Association, is part of the 2017 Vietnam Aquaculture Expo & Forum.
