|Students in Can Tho enjoy the photo displays on the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnam People’s Army.
Tran Viet Phuong, Director of the Can Tho City’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, spoke at the opening ceremony on Sunday: "The exhibitions aim at consolidating people’s trust in the Party, State and the Army while encouraging people from all social strata to unite and contribute to enhancing national defense."
Along with photo exhibitions, Can Tho City’s Museum has opened a display introducing more than 200 materials and artifacts on the beautiful daily activities of people in the Mekong Delta during the 19th and 20th centuries. Tran Kieu Oanh, a student of Can Tho Technical Economic College, told VOV: "Lively artifacts and materials on display help me better understand of our beautiful and unique traditions. I think this will help me improve my knowledge on subjects related to Vietnam’s history at university."
Photo exhibitions on the Communist Party of Vietnam and the People’s Army will close in mid February while the display on the local people’s daily traditions and customs will run until mid April.
