The donation was raised by a campaign that encouraged businesses to contribute to the fight against the pandemic.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Deputy Political Chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, said: "We truly appreciate this generous gift from business donors. Now we know we’re not alone in this battle against the pandemic."
