Dozens of artisans and skilled workers from across Vietnam are casting five bronze drums based on the Ngoc Lu drum which dates back more than 2,000 years. The Ngoc Lu drum which has been recognized as one of Vietnam’s national treasures is on display at the Vietnam History Museum. Its decorations feature musicians, stilt houses, people pounding rice, birds, animals, among others. The reproductions will have a face diameter of 60cm and a height of 49cm, weighing about 60kg.
