British Ambassador acknowledges Lam Dong’s efforts over tour accident

(VOVworld) – British Ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever held a working session with Lam Dong's authorities on Saturday to learn more about the accident in which three British nationals died at the Datanla Falls.

(VOVworld) – British Ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever held a working session with Lam Dong's authorities on Saturday to learn more about the accident in which three British nationals died at the Datanla Falls.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham S sent condolences to the victims’ families via Ambassador Giles Lever, affirming Lam Dong administration’s commitment to conducting careful investigation into the case and timely informing to the British Embassy.

Pham S said as soon as the accident happened, the province has mobilized various forces to rescue efforts and found the bodies of the victims. Necessary diplomatic procedures and coordination with the British Embassy have also been made.

Ambassador Giles Lever acknowledged efforts by Lam Dong’s relevant agencies in the search and transporting the bodies of the victims to Ho Chi Minh City.
