According to the New York Fire Department, the wounded people were sent straight to hospital. The department officials said the pipe bomb was found inside a dumpster in front of a 14-storey building between Sixth and Seventh avenues. Anti-terrorism forces have been deployed to the area. Police officers enhanced patrolling in key areas.
