Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Sydney and Becamex IDC Corporation, on Friday held workshop entitled "Vietnam: ASEAN's new strength in investment and production". The workshop is part of the series of events in Australia to promote the image of a stable and developed Vietnam and investment opportunities in Binh Duong province.

At the workshop, New South Wales Investment Authority Commissioner for Trade and Investment in ASEAN Andrew Parker appreciated the opportunities that the ASEAN and Vietnam markets can bring to the Australian business community, who he said are interested in cooperation in areas such as food, software, and services in Vietnam. He pledged to support local businesses to further expand trade and investment relations with ASEAN, especially with Vietnam.
