(VOVworld) – The National Assembly’s Committee for Legal Affairs and the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee on Thursday co-organized a forum on improving regulations on the organization of local governments in line with the new Constitution.

Vice Chairman of the NA Uong Chu Luu said building and fine tuning the organization of the local administration is a complex issue. The NA has worked with functional agencies to develop a draft law on the organization of the local administration which is scheduled to be approved at the 9th session of the NA in May.
Delegates said the draft law on the organization of the local administration must ensure a unifying administration, promote democracy, the jurisdiction and relations between the central and the local administration, and the People’s Councils and the People’s Committees.
