According to the White House, the President has set up an interdisciplinary initiative at the Justice Department to address violence against Asians and form a subcommittee which will focus on combating a rise in anti-Asian bias during the pandemic.

The Department of Health and Human Services will allocate 49.5 million USD from the American Rescue Plan for “community and culturally specific services and programs” which will help Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and conduct research to reduce bias and xenophobia aimed at Asian American communities.
The National Endowment for the Humanities will launch an online library to honor contributions made by Asian Americans.
