Mr. Chinh made the remarks as he attended a ceremony on Saturday to celebrate Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s 30th anniversary and present it the first-class Independence Order.
The Prime Minister asked Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to focus on resuming production, reopening the economy, and reviving its supply chains and the labor market. He urged the province to try to realize socio-economic development targets this year as much as it can and fulfill all the targets set for the 2021-2025 period.
“The Party and State believes that Ba Ria-Vung Tau's revolutionary traditions, its achievements, potentials, solidarity, and innovation will drive the province forward to a more prosperous life for its people, more development accomplishments, and a successful renewal cause. We are resolved to achieve the goal of a wealthy people, strong country, and just and civilized society,” according to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
