Association proposes COVID-19 vaccination for Vietnamese guest workers

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Association of Manpower Supply has asked the government to provide COVID-19 vaccination to Vietnamese guest workers whose contracts have expired.

The Association said a great number of Vietnamese students and workers are living and working in Japan and Chinese Taiwan. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, thousands of them have seen their contracts expire, but could not get home. Many Vietnamese workers have been supported by Japan and Taiwan, but others are in great financial difficulty, it said.
