The number of new cases in the past 24 hours was 208,000, with more than 3,500 deaths. The UK reported the greatest number of new cases, followed by Russia and India.

Asia is currently the most-affected region in the world, with over 75 million cases, followed by Europe, North America, and South America.

Europe has had the most Covid-19 fatalities, followed by South America and Asia. The United States, India and Brazil have been the hardest-hit countries in terms of the number of infections. In terms of the number of deaths, the top three countries are the US, Brazil, and India.
