(VOVworld) – Within the framework of the 48^th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting, ministers held consultation meetings with their counterparts from South Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

Ministers from the 3 ASEAN partners of Japan, South Korea, and China said the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 was an important milestone in regional economic integration. They appreciated the AEC master plan leading up to 2025 to turn it into a highly-competitive, united, dynamic market, with people-centered and people-oriented principles. The ministers suggested the East Asia Business Council must enhance regional economic integration.
