A Bamboo Airways spokesperson said all resources are well-prepared to reopen international flights, saying this is a necessary process to meet market demand.

Vietravel Airlines is working with its partners to bring foreign visitors to Vietnam and take Vietnamese travellers to open markets like Thailand and Indonesia by the end of the 2nd quarter, and to markets in the East Asian region in the 3rd quarter.

Pacific Airlines is now operating regular flights to Bangkok, and is working to soon reopen flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and other regional destinations.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, most of the countries to which Vietnam has proposed to resume air routes have approved its proposals. Vietnam’s flights to Europe, Australia, and the US have already reopened. International flights to new markets like the Middle East and Turkey are expected to open shortly.
