At a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday, the organizing board said the 4-day trade fair will feature around 170 pavilions, 28 of them representing foreign exhibitors, which will display abalone, honey, olive oil, spices, and other produce along with new agricultural technologies, farm supplies, and support services.

Le Thanh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Products Processing and Market Development, said the event aims to promote hi-tech agricultural production, boost trade, and create new connections between sellers and buyers.

It will also provide a platform for cities and provinces nationwide to introduce their products and burnish the reputation of Vietnamese farm produce, according to Hoa.

“In addition to promoting products and exchanging goods between countries, a forum will be held within the framework of the fair to connect with the European market, provide consultancy and information for agricultural startups, and encourage enterprises to invest in high-tech agricultural processing,” Hoa explained.
