Activities to mark the 70th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day abroad

(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Embassies in many countries have held celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to Angola, Do Ba Khoa, said 2015 was a special year in bilateral relations as Angola celebrated its 40th Independence Day and both countries marked the 40th anniversary of bilateral ties.

In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to Angola, Do Ba Khoa, said 2015 was a special year in bilateral relations as Angola celebrated its 40th Independence Day and both countries marked the 40th anniversary of bilateral ties. He expected more cooperation in agricultural, farming, civil construction, oil and gas and telecommunications.

Vietnamese General Consul in Australia, Le Viet Duyen, said Vietnam has been invited to join the Western Australia’s royal agricultural show. 15 Australian students will visit Vietnam to pursue an agricultural study program. Speaking at the ceremony, Senator James Edward Chown, expressed his pleasure over economic, trade, cultural and educational cooperation with Vietnam. Bilateral trade revenue between Vietnam and Western Australia reached nearly 1.2 billion Australian dollars last year.
Vietnamese General Consul Nguyen Van Hoa in Houston,  Texas, held a banquet to mark the anniversary and 20 years since bilateral relations was normalized and 5th anniversary of the consulate office. He praised recent development in bilateral ties and pledged more consulate work to promote political, economic, trade, healthcare and educational ties with Texas and southern America.
