(VOVworld) – The 8th national congress to honor 282 most outstanding representatives of Uncle Ho’s children in 2015 opened in Hanoi on Sunday. In his address, President Truong Tan Sang said that children will be the nation’s masters and he hoped that these children will continue to lead in emulation movements and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings. He asked Party committees, local administrations, social organizations, parents, and teachers to pay more attention to child care, protection, and education: “Children should be given favorable conditions to study, play, involve in social activities, and practice a healthy lifestyle. Pioneer brigades should be strengthened with more diverse and appealing activities to attract the participation of children nationwide.”
