In "Peace Footprints" episode the audience was told the story of 20-year-old martyr Huynh Kim Trung, who volunteered to fight in Quang Binh, the fierce battle field days and nights pounded by American bombs. There was a story about 74 year old Tran Thi Du, a native of Quang Nam, who devoted her youth to protecting the homeland.
The audience was moved in "Unforgettable Song" episode by the story of martyr Nguyen Viet Ninh, who died while still holding a gun with the inscription “Living on the rock to fight the enemy. Dying to turn into an immortal rock" in the northern Vi Xuyen front 38 years ago.

In "Aspiration for Peace" episode, wounded soldiers returned to peace bringing with them the optimistic spirit of "physically handicapped, yet very much capable" to contribute to national renewal and development. That was the sacred promise of the survivors to their deceased comrades: sacrifices in exchange for peace for the nation and prosperity for the people.
Attending the program, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Truong Xuan Binh of the 12th Army Corps is the son of Truong Xuan Hoa, hero of the people's armed forces. “He always told my mother, whether you have a son or a daughter, name him or her Binh because he understood the value of peace. That is also the reason why I chose to become a soldier to continue writing the peace story. In the most difficult times, I often think of my father. The spirit of the soldiers of "Uncle Ho's Army" is never to falter. We continue the destiny that we have chosen,” Binh said.
