(VOVworld) – A delegation led by Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son visited and offered incense at the martyrs’ cemetery of Vietnam’s Post and Telecommunications sector in Tay Ninh province as part of activities to mark the sector’s 70th founding anniversary. The cemetery is where nearly 300 post and telecommunication soldiers, who died on battlefields in the south-western region and Cambodia during the American war, are buried. Minister Son said thousands of people in the sector contributed significantly to setting up communications stations across Vietnam during the war. He said their contributions and sacrifices will forever be remembered by the Party, State and people of Vietnam.
