598 more cases of COVID-19 reported early Saturday

(VOVWORLD) - From 6 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday, Vietnam confirmed an additional 598 cases of COVID-9 in 14 provinces and cities. Ho Chi Minh had the most with 520 cases, the Ministry of Health said.

To date, Vietnam reported a total of 26,608 COVID-19 cases, 8,984 patients have recovered, 110 patients have died.

More than 4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

On Friday Vietnam’s daily tally hit a new record with 1,625 cases, of which Ho Chi Minh City had 1,229 cases.
