In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam praised social insurance achievements over the past year. He urged the sector to expand the number of people with social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance with a target of 45% of workers with social insurance by 2025.

So far, 88 million or 91% of Vietnamese people have health insurance.
