(VOVworld) – Hanoi’s 3rd student festival opened Friday, attracting 5000 students and youth union members from 60 universities, colleges, and academies in Hanoi. Nguyen Thien Tu, deputy head of Hanoi’s Student Association, told VOV: "The event aims to create an interesting playing field for students. It also encourages them to get involved in activities useful for the society and themselves.
Various activities took place within the festival including blood donation and environmental protection activities, reading festivals, job counseling, and sports competitions.
