340 Vietnamese citizens brought home from Japan

(VOVWORLD) - 340 Vietnamese citizens were brought home from Japan on Tuesday on a repatriation flight arranged by authorities in Vietnam and Japan, and Vietnam Airlines.

The passengers included elderly people, pregnant women, sick people, workers with expired work contracts, students who just completed an academic year, and stranded tourists.

The flight crew and all passengers were given health exams upon landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and then sent to a quarantine area in compliance with regulations.
