This is the sixth such event held by the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Association in response to the 2012 action plan for agent orange (AO)/dioxin victims and poor disabled people. The art performance and a walk for AO victims held earlier raised nearly 3 billion VND (150 thousand USD). President Nguyen Thi Hue of the city’s Red Cross Society told VOV:"We see the great fortitude and strong spirit of AO victims in their discussions with us about ways to improve their living conditions and the health of their families. We are grateful for the efforts to support AO victims of these groups which are so full of humanity."
