At the Association’s 30th founding anniversary event in Hanoi on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam thanked organizations, individuals, and businesses for their continuous contributions to caring and supporting disabled people and orphans to help them overcome difficulties and become useful citizens. He said orphans and people with disabilities also need greater care regarding their spiritual life.

As part of the celebration, a program entitled "One Heart - One World" was held to mobilize the entire society to help the disabled integrate into the community. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee received 1.4 million USD from individuals, organizations, and businesses to support the disabled, orphans and other vulnerable people.
