About 300 deputies from 60 countries attended 8 plenary sessions and 24 closed door meetings. They agreed that the world is facing serious security challenges from terrorist activities, the Islamic State, the enormous migrant crisis in Europe, changes in the global order, security challenges in Asia-Pacific, and the need to block financial sources for terrorists.

The Halifax is one of the most important annual security forums in North America.
