197 new COVID-19 infections, one more death reported Sunday evening

(VOVWORLD) - Additional 197 new COVID-19 infections, including 9 imported cases were confirmed on Sunday evening, according to the Ministry of Health.
Among the new domestic cases, 95 were in Ho Chi Minh city, 36 in Binh Duong, 15 in Bac Giang, 15 in Quang Ngai, 8 in Phu Yen, 7 in Hung Yen, 6 in Bac Ninh, 4 in Nghe An, 2 in Da Nang. 
To date, Vietnam has documented 15,643, including 13,874 domestically-transmitted infections.
The Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Sunday confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, raising the national tally to 76.
The 53-year-old woman living in Binh Tan district, HCM City tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on Thursday. She was transferred to the Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital from the Binh Tan District Hospital in a comatose state.
However, her condition progressed rapidly and died Friday. 
The cause of death was recorded as severe pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2, acute respiratory failure and septic shock.
