In his address, the Prime Minister praised the program’s achievements saying Hanoi will be a role model for other localities to follow: “Hanoi has brought into play its role as a central, locomotive urban area while its rural areas have become a role model for advanced development. Hanoi’s rural areas boast rich cultures and great potential for rural economic development. The city needs to work out specific measures to further develop the rural economy.”

The same day, the Prime Minister cut a ribbon to inaugurate an agricultural trade fair featuring local specialties under the program called “One commune one products.”
