Hanoi city organized 203 test sites with over 4,500 exam rooms, mobilized nearly 14,000 exam administrators and about 3,000 staff.

In the morning, the candidates took the 120-minute Literature exam in the form of an essay. In the afternoon, they will take a Foreign Language test in the form of multiple choice, with a duration of 60 minutes.

Students must take the exam in three subjects, including Mathematics, Literature and a Foreign Language, and candidates who have applied for specialized schools will take an additional specialized exam.
