100,000 volunteers join green summer campaign in HCM city

(VOVworld) – The Green Summer Campaign 2016 was launched in HCM city on Sunday. This year, volunteers will be dispatched to 24 districts in HCM city, southeastern, south central, and central highlands provinces, and Laos. They will build 40km of concrete roads, build and repair 10 bridges and electricity systems for 500 poor households. They will also provide medical consultations and free medicines to 5,000 people and recommend jobs for 1,000 young people and farmers.
