The festival, called “The quintessence of Vietnamese spices”, is jointly organised by the Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products, the Food and Foodstuff Association of Ho Chi Minh City (FFA), and relevant agencies.

During the 4-day festival scheduled to open next Thursday and involving 50 Vietnamese businesses, more than 1,000 types of spices from regions across Vietnam will be showcased. A Vietnamese spice map will be introduced.

The event will offer an opportunity for experts and businesses to discuss new trends in world cuisine and spices for consumers’ nutrition, post-COVID19 recovery, and the immune system.

At the seminar on spice economy, culinary experts and economists will discuss the importance of Vietnamese spice resources and the necessity to promote the economic sector.

Vietnam's agriculture and spice and flavoring industries are undergoing an impressive transformation, making Vietnam an important source of supply for the world market.

With geographical advantages stretching over different climates and soils, Vietnam has the biodiversity to create quality spice products, different from those of the same type in the world.
